Penguins Training Camp Day 2 Analysis with Josh Yohe!
Hunter and Pat wrap up the first week of daily episodes with Josh Yohe from The Athletic. They start with Josh's thoughts and analysis from the second day of training camp and what stood out to him on Friday. That includes Evgeni Malkin and Reilly Smith starting to form some chemistry, as well as Colin White looking good on a PTO. Is there a chance White makes the team out of camp since he was good enough to be on the Florida Panthers last year? They also dive into Erik Karlsson and how he's looked so far with his new team. After that, they get Josh's thoughts on how the core group of players are feeling with camp starting and if they feel hungrier than in year's past. They also get his thoughts on some of the other battles that are going on, including the No. 6 defensive spot and the backup goaltending spot. Does Ruhwedel have the inside track to play with PO Joseph? Is Ned going to be Jarry's backup? Finally, the two get Josh's thoughts on how he sees the team for this season and he even drops a small Jake Guentzel nugget in.
