How to stop the emptiness and create a positive a fulfilling life.
In this episode, we talk about breaking the shackles of negative energy, people-pleasing, and the draining habit of prioritizing others over yourself.
The perspective I'm about to share is incredibly liberating. It's a simple yet profound truth: "I do not need to be liked by you; I only need to be liked by me." When we become people-pleasers, we often think we're serving others, but the reality is different. Our interactions become about fulfilling our need for approval from others.
When you operate solely from the standpoint of self-approval, following your heart's guidance, you tap into your true energy source. On the other hand, people-pleasing disconnects you from yourself. You become a chameleon, constantly adapting to meet others' expectations, predicting what they want to hear, and strategizing to fit in. In this process, your connection to your energy weakens.
You end up operating at various frequencies dictated by others, and soon, you feel empty. People-pleasing itself isn't the issue; it's about how you're sourcing your energy. If you genuinely want to serve others or be a people-pleaser in spreading positivity, that's admirable. However, the need for acknowledgment and connection must primarily come from within.
When you're connected to yourself, fulfilling your inner guidance, and living authentically, you tap into your true source of energy and purpose. It may not be easy to make this shift, but it's simple to start by asking yourself a critical question: "Do I thrive on the approval of others, or do I thrive on self-approval?"
If your answer isn't "I thrive on self-approval," you're operating at an empty level. You'll struggle to fulfill your visions and enjoy life to the fullest. Within you, there's a guidance system urging you to heal and grow, offering your unique gifts to the world. But metaphorically speaking, this can't happen if you're constantly cooking up what others want.
Imagine if everyone could cook, but each of us excelled at making one thing the best. When you cook for others, focusing on their recipes, you miss discovering your true purpose. Instead, become the chef who perfects their unique dish, constantly refining it, adding and subtracting ingredients. This is the path to fulfillment.
Not everyone may appreciate your offering, but that's okay because you don't need universal approval. You only need to know that what you share is a product of love, healing, and authenticity. For those who resonate with it, it'll be the most valuable thing they've encountered, even if it's just for a season or a reason.
Be the chef who prepares the meal you were meant to create, not the one trying to please everyone. It's not about literal cooking; it's about your energy and authenticity. Stop adapting to various frequencies and make yourself right within. Wherever you go, let your inner goodness shine.
This is a powerful message, and I can't wait to share it with you.
