This week, I felt low-key suicidal feelings. Don’t freak out! The word ‘suicide’ can throw us into a fearful head spin, but I want to take this opportunity to talk about the episode to illustrate what suicide ideation can look like. It isn’t always highly dramatic and explosive – sometimes it’s recognising a quiet intrusive thought when it enters your mind and learning to let go of the judgement that comes with it.
DISLAIMER – if you’re feeling actively suicidal, please don’t listen today. It might not be what you need to hear right now, this will still be here for you another time. If you’re in emotional distress and would like a non-judgemental ear, the number for Samaritans is 116 123 – they are very awesome, lovely people.

I will be hosting a panel discussion in Manchester on Tuesday 18th February to discuss the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. If you have ever felt overwhelmed, stressed or a pressure to succeed in work, I think you’ll enjoy our conversation. It’s free to attend, link here.
