Players or Scheme: What Went Wrong for Miami's Defense?
After putting up 70 points against the Denver Broncos, the Miami Dolphins couldn't keep up with the Buffalo Bills. Quarterback Joah Allen had four passing touchdowns and just four incompletions in the 48-20 win over Miami. The divisional bout turned into a one-sided track meet as the Dolphins struggled to contain Allen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who finished with 120 yards and three touchdowns on just seven targets.
Should cornerback Xavien Howard be shadowing Diggs in that situation, or is Miami's entire defense to blame after missing nine tackles? Sunday's performance was concerning, how can the Dolphins clean things up defensively?
