In this episode I’m speaking with Isaac Morehouse, the founder of Praxis. Praxis is a year-long startup apprenticeship program that helps young people land jobs to give them real-world business experience. Isaac is a rebellious advocate for bucking the system in all areas of live.
In this episode, we talk about Isaac’s personal homeschooling experience, the way he chooses to educate his own children, the myths around homeschooling, whether or not alternative education is only for the privileged, what he learned working with start-up founders and entrepreneurs, and what it truly means to be successful in the world. We also talk about why it’s important for entrepreneurial young people to learn things like philosophy, history and economics to land positions in the workforce, how to cultivate work ethic and curiosity in your kids, and what it means to live a life on you own terms.
