One of the most forgotten aspects of raising a child is the relationship that came before they were born. Two adults meet and develop a connection that goes beyond words. If you're lucky, that love will only continue to grow as time goes on. For a lot of us though, that love dwindles. Sometimes, that love turns into resentment. And when you have a child involved, they can be caught in the middle of a battle that they shouldn't even know exists. In the case of Ameera Deadrick, that battle would be the reason for her disappearance.
