Bolton Wanderers (A) Preview - Season 23/24, Episode 16
It's been a while, but Dan is finally back on the pod! Not much has happened when he's been away though so won't have a lot to talk about...
In this week's episode of The Brunton Bugle, Lee and Dan look back on the last two fixtures against Wycombe Wanderers and Peterborough United. Two contrasting performances and results with plenty of talking points - including whether 4-3-3 can work for this squad, how well Jordan Gibson is doing this season and a re-opening of the first choice goalkeeper debate.
There's then a look ahead to this weekend's trip to Greater Manchester to face Bolton Wanderers, with the Blues set to be backed by 4,500 fans at the Toughsheet Community Stadium. We chat to Ryan from the "Trotter Chatter" podcast about how their season has gone so far, along with a little look back at the crazy last 20 years they've had.
On top of that, there's a news round-up and the usual Ex-Blues update.
Your host Lee Rooney is in Liverpool and is joined via the wonders of the internet by Dan MacLennan in Carlisle. You can find us on Twitter @bruntonbugle, Facebook (search for "Brunton Bugle") and email us with any questions, suggestions and feedback to bruntonbugle@gmail.com.
