October 7, 2023 - Mark 2 - Chronological Bible Study

In Mark 2 we learn that Jesus is far more concerned about the spiritual wellbeing of the paralyzed man than He is about the man's health and physical wellness. "Son, your sins are forgiven." We also read about the call of Matthew (Levi) the tax collector who was considered a traitor and a thief. "I came to call sinners." We also learn about fasting and that Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. This is both a reference to the Millenium reign of Jesus after His return and a reminder that God created the sabbath for people to rest.
