Colts End Home and Titans Losing Streak! Mike Chappell and Don Fischer Join!
(00:00-23:50) – Query & Company opens on a victory Monday with Jake Query and Jimmy Cook sharing their thoughts on the Indianapolis Colts defeating the Tennessee Titans for the first time at home since 2018. They briefly mention the Jonathan Taylor contract extension and start discussing how the Colts protect Richardson going forward so he isn’t suffering injuries.
(23:50-41:54) – Voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, Don Fischer, makes his weekly appearance on Query & Company to ask Jake how he’s concluded that the Indiana Hoosiers will defeat the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday. Additionally, they try to figure out some of the changes that could be coming to the IU offense following the firing of Walt Bell right before the bye week.
(41:54-46:27) – Jake and Jimmy close out the first hour of the show by discussing Jake’s lack of interest in The Eagles with them coming to Indianapolis next week.
(46:27-1:14:24) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, of CBS4 and FOX59 joins Query & Company to recap the Colts beating the Titans at their own game, debate if Shane Steichen needs to change his play calling by calling fewer designed quarterback runs for Anthony Richardson in order to keep him healthy, what receiving a second opinion means for Richardson, explain how the Colts and Jonathan Taylor got to the point of a contract extension, and if it’s time to panic regarding Alec Pierce.
(1:14:24-1:22:48) – For the first time in today’s show, Jake and Jimmy open the phone lines to get reaction from Colts fans. A lot of the calls pertain to what the Colts need to do with Anthony Richardson at quarterback.
(1:22:48-1:26:07) – The one o’clock hour concludes with one more phone call from a listener sharing their opinion on yesterday’s Colts win.
(1:28:46-1:52:13) – Jake and Jimmy start the final hour of the show by receiving a plethora of callers asking various questions. They address the performances of Blake Freeland, where Zack Moss ranks right now in terms of production out of the entire NFL at running back, the master class coaching job that Shane Steichen has done, and then why the Colts finally extended Jonathan Taylor after all the drama leading up to Saturday afternoon.
(1:52:13-2:03:24) – After another disappointing loss for Notre Dame, Jake and Jimmy start looking at the remainder of their schedule to determine what kind of season it’ll be deemed as. Additionally, they try to figure out what kind of bowl game the Fighting Irish would be playing in.
