10@9 God Creates Through Evolution - October 13, 2023

This morning we analyze Ramban's insight that God created the world through a certain process of evolution, based on a precise reading of the opening passage of Bereishit (Genesis). We examine, through an essay by Rabbi Yaakov Neuberger, what this process means to teach us about our spiritual lives and growth, and we apply this specifically to what is happening in Israel today. Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation.
