Reaction: Miami Hurricanes LOSE 41-31 AT North Carolina, Canes Can't Be Good With So Many ERRORS
The Miami Hurricanes could not get out of their own way in their 41-31 road loss at North Carolina. The Hurricanes committed 4 turnovers while the Tar Heels had none. The Hurricanes had a 17-14 lead at halftime but were outscored 21-0 in the third quarter. Tyler Van Dyke has now thrown 5 interceptions in his past 4 games. Host Alex Donno reacts to everything, including Miami being unable to sustain their pressure. They sacked Drake Maye 5 times with 4 of those coming in the first half. In the second half, the defense could not hold and they were gashed by running back Omarion Hampton for 197 rushing yards.
Where do the Hurricanes go from here? Is the sky falling now that the team is 0-2 in conference and on a 2-game losing streak? Donno gives praise to freshman defensive lineman Rueben Bain for playing very well and to receivers Brashard Smith and Jacolby George for making big plays. Smith needs to play more.
