It has been nine days since the start of the Israeli-Hamas war. Since then everything seems to have changed over the whole world. Nothing feels normal ever again and there is no going back. I am not going back.
I spent the entire week in a range of emotions, but today I felt a heaviness and a sorrow, and then a quiet peace. Like a quiet holding of my soul. A kind of peace that came with noticeable strength.
Fear is now growing stronger in the hearts of the even the Lord's most steadfast saints. Yet at the same time all those strong believers know for a certainty that there is an urgency. A short time to work and to compel as many people to be saved to come in.
The stakes are high now and we need Jesus' peace to accomplish the purposes He has for us to finish. But we must have His supernatural peace in order to be rock-steady and to hear His voice clearly. Our swift obedience will depend on it.
"The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light." Romans 13:12.
“Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell.” ― C.T. Studd
