Miami Hurricanes BEAT Clemson In 2 OT Behind MASSIVE Rueben Bain Performance, Emory Williams' Poise
The Miami Hurricanes won a double overtime THRILLER against Clemson 28-20. Host Alex Donno reacts to everything from a game where a pair of true freshmen stepped up for starring roles. Hurricanes starting quarterback Tyler Van Dyke missed the game due to injury, so Miami turned to true freshman Emory Williams. Williams had ups and downs but engineered two massive scoring drives to tie the game in regulation and then the game-winning drive in overtime.
Donno points out that the clear MVP of the contest was Miami’s true freshman defensive lineman Rueben “Hurricane” Bain. He led the team with 8 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 TFL, 2 QB Hurries and a forced fumble. Bain is becoming one of the top defensive linemen in the country. Miami also saw senior linebacker Corey Flagg seal with win with a massive tackle for loss on the final play of OT. Donno explains why Miami doesn’t have a quarterback controversy and why Mario Cristobal is likely taking too much heat for the way he handled the end of regulation.
