As of late, so many people are feeling weary. Days on earth seem so long. Many are desperate, lonely and longing for something to change. During biblical times the Romans referred to it as "the common days."
Lately our days seem not to be so common at all. Things that are happening in the earth have become so tense and fearful. The Christian community is no so seemingly Christian in conduct.
Love has fallen down and hatred prevails which adds to the feeling of loss. Yet people have a common daily life they have to return to and perform.
Though war rages and kingdoms of this world are at terrifying odds, people still need deliverances, healing, miracles and all kinds of help from the Lord. Those things still go on and on.
"Moses endured as seeing Him who is invisible." We are also called to see Jesus the same way. If we see only things of time and forget the things of eternity, we perish.
Then our faith begins to wither and we become weak and hopeless. We need vision for life, vision for prayer, continual undimmed vision.
"You must look steadfastly through the visible, until the invisible opens up to you."
