The number of COVID-19 cases, deaths and hospitalizations are steadily declining in the U.S., signaling we may have turned a corner in the pandemic. And after a challenging start to rolling out the vaccine, about 31.6 million people in the US have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine, including about 9.1 million people who are fully vaccinated. In today’s episode, we discuss the latest in the journey to end the pandemic and what it means for pediatrics with Sam Dominguez, MD.
Dr. Dominguez is a pediatric infectious diseases physician at Children’s Hospital Colorado and Professor of Pediatrics and Infectious Diseases at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
