Courtney & André start off by reviewing the NWSL quarterfinals, with OL Reign suffocating an energetic Angel City, then Gotham getting a smart win over a Kerolin-less (sad feelios) North Carolina Courage. We look ahead to the semifinals then chat about Vlatko's return to the league.
Then we discuss the statement and action being taken by the Reggae Girlz to refuse callups in order to force change with the Jamaican Football Federation, and receive pay they've earned. We discuss the issues, and how you can help elevate all players struggling against their federations.
Next, we get into England being weird about Arsenal's alabaster, eggshell frosty squad and coaches whining about the UWCL format because they failed to make it to the group stage.
We wrap up by reviewing candidates for NWSL awards, including our picks for coach of the year, defender of the year, rookie of the year, and MVP!
