Episode 23:43 The Interesting Role Vitamin D Plays In Low Testosterone Levels, Infertility, Osteoporosis, Restless Leg Syndrome, Itchy Skin, Hives, And Canker Sores
On the last episode of the Get Healthy Alabama podcast we talked about the role sunshine and Vitamin D play in helping you look better, feel better, lower your cholesterol levels and boost your immunity.
On this episode we take that conversation a step further.
Specifically we discuss how increasing Vitamin D levels can improve fertility in women… and testosterone levels in men.
We also share how Vitamin D works with other vitamins and minerals… most notably Vitamin F (yes, there IS a vitamin F, it’s just not recognized by the FDA) and Calcium.
We then explain how imbalances among Vitamin D, Vitamin F and Calcium can result in conditions such as osteoporosis, “leathery” skin, extreme itching, hives, welts, canker sores, and restless legs.
The physiology behind the interplay of these nutrients is fascinating and we do our best to explain it to you.
Give this episode a good listen as it will help you know what to do to prevent and/or treat any of these conditions.
And, as always, please recommend this episode to a friend.
Thanks!
