The A24 Rocks crew brings a special Halloween treat for horror fans by reviewing the 1973 William Friedkin classic "The Exorcist." The Exorcist was adapted by the writer of the novel William Peter Blatty, and is considered one of the most successful horror films of all time, earning $1.8 billion in the box office accounting for inflation. It's about a 12 year old girl named Reagan and her actress mother Chris. Soon after Reagan plays with a Ouija board, strange things start happening to her and the house they live in. Father Damien Karras is a Catholic Priest and a psychiatrist at Georgetown. His path crosses with Chris and Reagan when it is believed that Reagan is possessed by a demon and must seek an exorcism. The Exorcist is one of the only horror films to ever be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture and is largely believed to have created the genre "supernatural horror." Will the A24 Rocks crew have any demons to exorcise in this review? Caution: movie spoilers.
