On the night of January 8, 1993, two armed assailants entered a Brown's Chicken restaurant in Palatine, Illinois, just before closing time and proceeded to brutally murder seven employees, all for less than $2000. Years would go by before police would get their big break. In those interim years, the BGA would release their scathing report on the investigation, the ISCC would form their panel to refute the BGA, the victim’s families would file lawsuits against Brown’s Chicken. Everyone wanted someone to blame for this crime, but the killers remained elusive. That is, until 2002, when a phone call between old high school friends would change everything.
