Hannie Mommers is a Dutch pensioner and she was a graphic designer in the Netherlands for 35 years. After retiring, she and her husband emigrated to Spain. For a year they lived the laptop life while traveling from southwest Spain to the southeast, where they found their dream house.
During her career, Hannie was an entrepreneur with her own business, so she had to spend time networking and talking to people to get work. That wasn't really what she enjoyed doing, so as retirement time approached, she decided to try her hand at a different line of work, because as an entrepreneur all her life, she didn't like the idea of doing "nothing".
When she retired, her plans changed a bit due to life events. She started to feel a bit stuck in her life and after attending a seminar that had her thinking about her ideal life, she began looking into all the options available to her. Figuring that out of all the possibilities, there had to be a few that were reasonable, and deciding that it was a good way to check out some of those options, she and her partner begain divesting themselves of their possessions. This turned out to be quite liberating and led eventually to one of their current tenets, zero waste.
Discovering that she enjoyed writing, affiliate marketing came to the forefront. Research helped her determine that it would be a great way to continue bringing in a bit of money, without having to talk to people in person... and she could do it from anywhere! She began a few blogs, each focusing on a different aspect of creating a healthy lifestyle. This was going to be their future.
Their sites (Age with Care, No Geraniums and Our Green Health) are all devoted to the ideas of healthy living that they promote: healthy aging, organic foods, and zero waste are big topics. Through these sites, they draw readers to affiliate offers and earn a modest income to augment their pensions.
Hannie believes firmly that aging has no bearing on one's ability to deal with technology and she fights against connecting such ideas. She believes strongly that mindset and interest determine one's ability to do specific acitivities. She also believes that we "make our own luck" and she has created products to help people change their mindset and succeed at what they strive to do.
Her product LUCKI is a 5-day online program designed to help you gain happiness.
She also has a program to teach users how to create a blog that will make money, which can be found on her website: https://hanniemommers.com
