10@9 Yitzchak Teaches It's Our Shift - November 8, 2023

This morning we explore the meaning of our three daily prayers being established by our patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We analyze the differences in time, mood, and mode in each prayer. We concentrate on the mode of Isaac's prayer, and it's meaning for us today - to take our shift, each afternoon and early evening, praying for our soldiers, hostages, and all of Israel. Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation.
