337. Birth & postpartum advocacy with Marlese Kaufman & Esther Tran-Le
This is the first of a monthly series co-hosted by MyAdvo and kozēkozē. The founder of MyAdvo, Esther Tran-Le was inspired to bring Marlese Kaufman on, to share her courageous birth stories in efforts to elucidate just how important and yet complex self-advocacy can be. Tune in to hear more about Marlese's journey into motherhood and how as an advocate by nature, she was able to support herself and her babies.

MyAdvo is a community that brings together women with chronic female diseases, like endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, or autoimmune disorders, so that we can feel less isolated or ashamed. Their mission is to empower women to advocate for themselves at the doctor’s, so they have agency and control over their health. MyAdvo just introduced their Peer Advocate Community that women can join to be matched with other women experiencing similar health journeys for emotional support and advocacy advice.
