From Horses to Hounds, Slam Poet and Performer Pauline Holmes
Desk jobs, and horses and dogs, oh my!
This week, I'm speaking with Pauline Holmes. After 10 years at a desk job that hated, Pauline finally was free to pursue life beyond the desk. But a seriously scary horse-riding accident meant that she had to rethink her life and career once again.
Now, Pauline is a 60-something poet and storyteller with the "mind of a child and the wrinkles of someone much older". She will be bringing her award-winning slam poetry performance to the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
