This week, Kristin combines two of her worlds speaking with Gill Kirk.
Despite a "humble Glaswegian working class" background, Gill has walked the halls of Oxford and Parliament. She’s set up her own business, written for corporations, stage and screen, and been a kickass single mum.
A perfect The Second Chapter guest indeed!
She’s also written Skin in the Game, the dark, hilarious climate-change play Kristin is producing at the New Wimbledon Studio theatre in November.
If Kristin's conversation with Gill whet your appetite for live theatre, you can find the ticket link here: https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/skin-in-the-game/studio-at-new-wimbledon-theatre/
We’re also halfway through a crowdfunder to ensure our cast and creatives can be paid more fairly than fringe theatre ticket sales allows. So if you’d like to support live theatre or just want to let us know that you’re enjoying The Second Chapter, please pledge what you can! https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/skin-in-the-game
For more about, or to contact Gill, you can find her at www.gillkirk.com for scripts and www.lyric-communications.com for the day job that sometimes pays for it!

On The Second Chapter, serial careerist and founder of Slackline Productions, Kristin Duffy, chats with women who started the second (or third… or fifth!) chapter in their careers and lives, after 35. You’ll find inspiring stories, have a few laughs, and maybe even be motivated to turn the page on your own second chapter!
Of course we’d love to hear what you think- and if you love the show, please leave us a 5-star rating and review on podchaser or Apple podcasts.
