Vicki Cox says she was practically born in the pew of the Churches of Christ where her family has deep roots. She’s been married for 33 years and has two children and one grandchild. She lives on a small farm in south-central Missouri. Her preacher husband is now retired from full time ministry. ln 2003, she got her preacher husband fired from a church by asking for a study on women’s roles in the church and in the scriptures.
