A Conversation with Bigfoot Researcher & Author, Lyle Blackburn

Today’s guest is a well known researcher and author in the Bigfoot World who has written many acclaimed books including The Beast of Boggy Creek and Sinister Swamps. He’s been featured in shows like Monsters and Mysteries in America, Strange Evidence and Finding Bigfoot. He’s guested on numerous well known podcasts and radio programs and can also be heard narrating several Small Town Monsters documentaries, speaking at cryptozoology conferences across the nation or weaving tales of creepy and legendary creatures and cryptids on his podcast, Monstro Bizarro. 

Lyle Blackburn joins me for a discussion about the very intriguing and ever persevering cryptid known as the Fouke Monster. We discuss the history of this strange creature, from local lore to Mainstream to the modern day, his research and journey into bringing this story to life and some of the stranger details about it’s physicality that has become a large part of the legend - but may have less of a connection to this animal than we thought. He also relays some of his own experiences in the Fouke area, including vocalizations and even…a possible sighting.
