097 Dan Flaherty filmed the World Series, The Olympics and lots and lots of Dave and his antics
For Dan Flaherty, the television business is a family thing. Like his father and grandfather before him, Dan has made his living in broadcasting, the vast majority, being a camera man at the highest level. Major sporting events like the World Series (where he met his wife in the stands as he filmed the game), The Olympics, and a lot of Late Show with David Letterman are just some of the moments Flaherty filmed.
Dan, who is still working for CBS and hoping to get a full-time gig for Colbert, takes time out of his extremely busy, many times unpredictable schedule to join Mike on The Letterman Podcast and tell the story of how he came to work for Late Show and talk about the behind the scenes of some of the legendary things he got to capture for us, the viewing audience, to collectively see.
