Imagine introducing yourself and then saying, "I am..." What follows that "I am" statement? How clear are you about who you are? This self-identity can be applied to different aspects of your life—the professional you, the private you, the public you.

If you struggle to provide a clear answer to this question, it's understandable why you might find it challenging to chart a clear path in your life. Whether you want to increase your income, build meaningful relationships, or attract the right people into your inner circle, your self-identity plays a crucial role.

According to the law of attraction, like attracts like. So, if you desire something but don't truly believe you are aligned with it, you'll continue to experience what you currently are, even if you yearn for something different.

Your desire for something different reinforces the reality that you don't have it. You're like an observer looking through a window at something you want but don't possess. You admire it but remain separate from it.

The universe interprets this as your preference for observing rather than possessing. Consequently, it keeps bringing you close to your desires, but they remain just out of reach because your belief tells the universe that you don't truly want them.

Now, imagine shifting that perspective. Instead of saying, "I desire this," you say, "I am this." For example, "I am a millionaire," "I am a happy person," "I am a joyful being," "I am a loving being," "I am a powerful being." When your belief becomes "I am this" instead of "I desire this," the law of attraction manifests that reality.

You must also embody these statements. Your actions, thoughts, and reactions must align with your "I am" statements. It's not enough to say it; you must become it. Speaking these affirmations to the world generates a powerful energy that attracts your desired reality.

You can't merely say it without embodying it. If you declare, "I am love, and I operate in love and light," but your actions don't reflect this, your ego-driven responses persist. The universe interprets this as your preference for observing rather than truly being.

So, the universe keeps you close to your desired reality but doesn't quite grant it to you because your actions and beliefs contradict your statements. If you want to shift your reality, you must genuinely become what you say you are.

The power of "I am" is spectacular. Whether you say, "I am successful," "I am knowledgeable," "I am loving," or "I am healing," the "I am" statement holds the potential to transform your reality. So, what is your "I am"?

Moreover, when you test your "I am" statements, do negative thoughts arise about those who have more? Do you find yourself thinking, "Millionaires must be greedy," or "Wealthy individuals must exploit others"? It's crucial to become aware of these underlying thoughts.

You might think, "People in great shape must be egotistical" or "They must be self-absorbed." These are the barriers that arise when you test your "I am" statements. Can you genuinely believe you're something you're not? Can you make the shift?

Your purpose can be as straightforward as becoming the rising tide that lifts all ships, contributing to a world of abundance and interconnectedness. So, I encourage you to reflect on your "I am" statements, embrace your chosen identity, and become a positive force in your life and in the lives of others.
