In this episode I dive into the concept of feeling bad in order to feel good.
Growing up, many of us were raised with guilt and shame, believing that self-sacrifice and punishment were necessary for self-worth. We often feel ashamed when doing something good for ourselves and believe we must suffer before we can experience joy. However, true giving comes from a place of joy and connection to our source self, rather than from a place of obligation or expectation.
We cannot control others' experiences, and it is not our responsibility to fix or change them. Instead, we can choose to feel good for the sake of feeling good, radiating love and happiness to others. The biggest mindset shift necessary is understanding that it is okay to feel good and prioritize our own well-being.
When we can let go of the belief that we have to feel bad before we can feel good, we open ourselves up to a life of joy and love.
