Husker247 HoopsCast: Taking care of business

The Husker247 HoopsCast returned on Tuesday to discuss the big win in Sioux Falls, the sneaky big game on Wednesday night and the debut of the random Husker hooper of the week. 

Things start where the Huskers left off following a demolition of Oregon State basketball. Mike Schaefer and Brian Christopherson weave through the game, how Brice Williams proved to be an effective scorer, Juwan Gary’s immediate contribution since getting back in the lineup, the reliability of Riek Mast and how this team continues to look like the deepest roster of the Fred Hoiberg era. 

After some discussions about the game things kick forward into a look at what is next for Nebraska with Duquesne on Wednesday and how the Huskers matchup in general. 

Could this be a breakout game for Keisei Tominaga, who has yet to have one of those 20-point scoring outbursts that he pulled together multiple of last February. 

Finally it’s the debut of a new weekly segment the random Husker Hooper of the week. This time Christopherson gives a handful of clues and Schaefer attempts to identify a player from Husker history.
