Using essential oils with mindfulness – part 3
Welcome to the final “Using Essential Oils with Mindfulness” episode with my special guest, Jennifer Strickland. Previously, Jennifer shared how essential oils can be used in practice to change our thoughts and decrease stress. She also shared how our bodies differentiate between synthetic fragrances and natural frequencies. Before Jennifer guides us in an “Aroma Reset” practice using essential oils and awareness practice, I briefly review the definition of mindfulness. Mindfulness is paying attention to our thoughts, feelings, and physical reactions in the present moment without harmful judgment. During the “Aroma Reset” practice, Jennifer demonstrates how to focus on one thought at a time to refocus our attention on how emotions and feelings manifest through physical discomforts.
In conclusion, Jennifer and I highlight the importance of managing stress. It is essential to seek help from a professional if needed. Most of all, don’t feel like you’re alone. Start now. Reach out and manage your stress before it builds up and causes other health conditions.
