NC Fatherhood Conference on a Special E-Spotlight on Fatherhood

On a special E-Spotlight local group, NC Fatherhood Conference, that is making a huge impact on fathers. Derrick W. Byrd is the co-founder and Program Director of the Family Resource Center South Atlantic. Mr. Byrd is the co-chairperson of the 2021 North Carolina Fatherhood Conference. Mr. Byrd has served as an advocate for children and families for over 38 years. Derrick has served in various leadership positions in many local, state, and national non-profit organizations and governmental agencies. Derrick is highly regarded as an independent African-American leader of change and empowerment.
