Celebrating Giants of Africa's 20th Anniversary ft. Masai Ujiri & Jama Mahlalela
With Giants of Africa turning 20 years old, Donnovan goes deep on the organization's past, present and future. He first chats with Giants of Africa founder - as well as Toronto Raptors Vice-Chairman and President - Masai Ujiri (4:48), on the mission he set out to accomplish back in 2003, how it's gone so far, and what he still hopes to achieve going forward when it comes to empowering boys and girls through the power of basketball. Afterwards, Donnovan chats with Raptors assistant coach Jama Mahlalela (34:51) about his experiences with sport based on the varied places he lived, including his birthplace in the Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), and how that's shaped his outlook on basketball throughout his life.
