Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk
News:Sports News
The Edmonton Oilers left until late but came from behind to defeat the Winnipeg Jets 3-1. With the win, the Oilers extended their win streak to four, which means we are now one win away from Tyler Yaremchuk, who is saying the team is officially back.
Edmonton were the better team on the night, but Winnipeg scored the first goal. Cole Perfetti scored on the powerplay, and it wasn't until late in the third that the Oilers tied the game. Darnell Nurse got a lucky one from Connor Hellebuyck, who closed his a little too early. Shortly after, Leon Draisaitl scored from his office on the powerplay to give the Oilers their first lead. To close out the game, Ryan McLeod sealed the victory with an empty net goal for his first of the season ending his road trip in Mundare.
Later on in the show, Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff will join Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin. Frank will give us the reasoning behind his first trade targets board of the year, which already has one player crossed off. Yesterday, the Vancouver Canucks acquired Nikita Zadorov from the Calgary Flames for two draft picks. Frank will give some insight into how that trade went down.
Additionally, he will give us his thoughts on where the Edmonton Oilers could look for a trade partner. Furthermore, rumours are swirling around a potential call-up for Jack Campbell. Frank will give us an update on that speculation.
