Final Whistle: Rodgers Rages At First Half Display But Bhoys Turn It Around In Perth
Brendan Rodgers has been in football management for a long time.
So for the 50 year old to claim that half-time in this afternoon's clash with St Johnstone was the angriest he's been, tells you a lot about the way it was going.
Slow, turgid and uninspiring are just some of the words to describe the opening 45 minutes in Perth, but whatever Rodgers said at half time we seen a totally different side after the break.
Three excellent goals saw Celtic take all 3 points on the day, but there's no doubt that we're not currently firing on all cylinders and the manager will be looking to find solutions quickly with a heavy run of games between now and the end of the year.
Bonus on the day was the second half performance of Mikey Johnstone which swung the game in Celtic's favour. The Republic of Ireland international was excellent and will be looking to follow today up with a start in midweek.
