With so much discussion concerning the role of Israel on the world stage and in relation to biblical prophecy, what exactly is “Israel” and how do we interpret the role of Israel in biblical theology and especially in relation to the Church? The language of “replacement theology” is still thrown around today as a pejorative term for covenant theology that views the Church as the apex of God’s redemptive purposes in Christ. We discuss the relation between Israel and the Church in this episode of Christ and Kingdom.
