With New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr in concussion protocol and managing a rib injury, it makes sense to start Jameis Winston in a winnable game against the Carolina Panthers next week. There's no quarterback controversy or conversation, it's just about health at this point.

Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, Derek Carr and Taysom Hill showed up on offense against the Detroit Lions, even though it didn't lead to a win. But play calling is still a big issue, especially in the clutch.
