Individuals caught up in the confusion and chaos of their bodies, feelings, and identity have souls with equal worth as ours. We must care for them as a person. No matter what sin we are speaking about, the most loving thing we can do for any human being is to tell them God’s truth. We cannot compromise and act as if we believe something we do not. It is not loving to affirm that which will destroy them. We will best love them when we represent God and His truth to them. In all our conversations about these things, we want people to know that God loves them, cares about them, and is willing to save them and change their lives. We want to do all we can to rescue sinners from the flames of hell and do it with compassion. We need to do it with graciousness and courage, never looking to be offensive or insult someone on purpose. Some seek to change who they are by altering their physical body and outward appearance.
