Day 340 | The Lord tells Haggai to rebuild the Temple | 2 John: Introduction

Day 340 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE.

Haggai 1-2:23 in the Bible talks about the prophet Haggai encouraging the people of Israel to rebuild God's temple in Jerusalem. The people had been ignoring the temple because they were busy with their own homes. Haggai reminded them that God was not pleased with this and that they needed to put God first. When they listened and started rebuilding, God promised to bless them and be with them. The book also contains prophecies about future blessings and the coming of a special leader from David's family line. 2 John 1 is a short letter in the Bible written by the Apostle John. He writes to a Christian lady and her children, expressing joy that they are living in truth and love. John reminds them to love each other, which means living as Jesus taught. He also warns them to be careful about false teachers who don't acknowledge Jesus. The main message is about living in truth and love, and being faithful to what Jesus taught.
