LB Francisco Mauigoa Is STAYING At Miami, Hurricanes Lose Colbie Young In Portal, Decisive Week For Transfer QB
The Miami Hurricanes will not be losing star linebacker Francisco “Kiko” Mauigoa to the NFL Draft. He decided on Saturday that he will remain at The U for his final year of eligibility. Mauigoa was Miami’s co-leader in sacks with 7.5 on the season and second on the team with 70 tackles. His younger brother, Francis, just finished his true freshman season at Miami at right tackle. Host Alex Donno reacts to the good news and explains how important it is to keep Kiko for another year.
Meanwhile, Miami is losing 3rd-leading receiver Colbie Young in the transfer portal. Donno explains the loss and how Miami might go about replacing him. Will it happen internally or in the transfer portal? Transfer defensive tackle CJ Clark had a great weekend visit with Miami. Will he choose the Hurricanes or the Washington Huskies? He is scheduled to visit Washington but it’s possible that Clark might not go through with that visit. Donno reacts again to DL Kendall Jackson committing to Miami, and explains how he caught Miami’s staff off guard.
