Locked on Wild PREGAME: Wild Try to Douse Flames without Jared Spurgeon or Jonas Brodin

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we start by following up on yesterday's news that Assistant General Manager Chris O'Hearn and the Wild agreed to part ways. We discuss Michael Russo's findings that there have been multiple investigations by an independent firm into the Minnesota Wild front office. We look at the reasons that this likely is not related to anything on ice or contract related due to the fact that the team already made a change to reflect poor on ice performance and the lack of a replacement for all of O'Hearn's duties. We move to tonight's game and the fact that Jared Spurgeon will not play due to an injury. We look at the remaining defensemen and how the Wild will fill the duties of their two most important players. We finish with the Keys to the Game for tonight's matchup with Calgary, which include:

1. The offense has to lead. The Wild need to take as much pressure off the Wild defense as they can in tonight's game.
2. Filip Gustavsson is going to have to step up and take charge.
