Today we talk about the cellist of Sarajevo and his decision to respond to the horrors of war and the loss of innocent lives by creating beauty in the midst of the rubble. Creating beauty in the midst of brokenness requires courage, but it is something we each can do. It is also the gospel story as we celebrate the beauty of Christmas--Immanuel, God with us.
