In February of 2004, the body of a nude woman was discovered near an agricultural research station for Louisiana State University (LSU). The crime scene was processed and it was discovered that the woman had suffered a deep slash to her neck and there were ligature marks all around her neck. Her body had been positioned in a way so that trauma to her genitals would clearly be seen by anyone who found her. Investigators found signs that she had been dragged to the scene, tire tracks nearby, and 13 empty beer cans. The body was determined to be Donna Johnston, and she was the final victim of Sean Vincent Gillis’ 10 year killing spree.
