60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey: Listen to a Story Replacing My December NewsAudioLetter
Hello to you listening in Walla Walla, Washington!
Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey and your host, Diane Wyzga.
I thought I’d offer you a story instead of the December issue of the Quarter Moon Story Arts NewsAudioLetter and we will Begin Anew in January 2024
In 1981 Tom Hegg wrote A Cup of Christmas Tea drawing on childhood memories about an event that may sound familiar to some of you. As I move through time I am increasingly aware that if we are lucky we get to arrive in old age, to become silver-haired elders while still feeling somewhat young inside. One of the very best gifts I know of - to give and receive - is to spend time with elders. Maybe share a story and a cup of tea.
Question: Who might you visit with to share a story and a cup of Christmas tea?
You’re always invited: “Come for the stories - stay for the magic!” Speaking of magic, would you subscribe, share a 5-star rating + nice review on your social media or podcast channel of choice, and join us next time!
