In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about how its Ivan Mironechenko's time to impress. Sonny Milano and TJ Oshie are on the injured list and can't return until after the Christmas freeze. So, the Caps called up Ivan Mironechenko and Hendrix LaPierre. Ivan had a good camp, but that was the preseason. It will be interesting to see what he's got on the big stage in the regular season. Through 27 games down in Hershey he scored eight goals and seven assists for 15 points, the most among Hershey's first year talent. Later Dan talks about the trade rumblings surrounding the Capitals and Andrei Kuzmenko. Brian Maclellan said he want to address the top 6. Is this the type of player that fits the bill. Kuzmenko, who had 39 goals and 35 assists for 74 points in 81 games last year as a rookie with Vancouver, has just six goals and 11 assists through 29 games so far this year He has a cap hit of $5.5 million.
