Send us a Text Message.Come along with Beyond The Shadows on our first on-site paranormal expedition. We'll journey deep into the remote Maine woods to try and locate Riceville. The town was once a prospering community nestled along the banks of the Big Buffalo stream, supported by the local tannery. At the turn of the 20th century the tannery burned down and the town slowly died. Quite literally. Some say the people wandered away, some say they all died of cholera and were buried in a mass grave. Whatever the case, the town was abandoned over 100 years ago and quickly forgotten.
