Often criticized are those who are involved in the defense side of the criminal process, the investigators, the experts, and indeed the attorneys. Most of us learned about the 6th Amendment in high school Civics…the right to have the assistance of counsel, the right to be informed of the charges against us, the right to a speedy & public trial by an impartial jury, and the right to be confronted with witnesses against us as well as witnesses in our favor.
