Jesus, The Returning King

As we wrap up the Behold the King series, and we wrap up another year, we are going to consider a passage that should be our personal mission for 2024. We will consider 1 Corinthians 15. Let’s start at the end.

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

This verse challenges us to stand our ground, but how can we remain “immovable” in the significant challenges of life? Note that 1 Cor 15:58 starts with, “therefore.” This means that the challenge to be steadfast is based on something Paul has said. We need to go back to the beginning of 1 Corinthians 15:58.
