This morning we analyze the first question Moshe asks God. According to Rabbi David Wolpe, this provides the theme for Shemot (the Book of Exodus), and explains why it ends where it ends. This question is asked by everyone of us, and God's answer is vitally true for everyone of us. Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation.
