Today we're broadcasting live from Hope College as their Men and Women's Basketball teams will be hosting a Purple Community event alongside Van Andel Institute next Wednesday January 10th. Throughout the show, we were joined by some of the great Coaches and players from Hope Basketball to talk about their Purple Community night next week, and much more. We were also joined by some of our insiders to talk about the Lions, Michigan, and more. We kicked off the show with Dan Miller who is the voice of our Detroit Lions. He and Huge talked about the bad call from the Lions/Cowboys game, they looked ahead to the game against the Vikings, and more. We wrapped up the hour with Hope Women's Head Basketball Coach Brian Morehouse. He talked with Huge about the culture at Hope, told us about something cool the Hope basketball teams recently had the chance to do, and more. In our second hour, we were joined by Clayton Sayfie from theWolverine.com to talk some Michigan football. He gave his thoughts on how Michigan played in the Rose Bowl, he and Huge looked ahead to Michigan/Washington in the National Championship game, and more. We were then joined by Ryan Klingler who helps out Head Men's Basketball Coach Greg Mitchell. He and Huge talked about something close to their hearts which is the Wes Leonard Heart Foundation. We were then joined by Coach Mitchell so he could talk about his players, he filled us in on how the season is going, and more. We were then joined by Clayton Dykhouse and Gabe Quillan who play for Coach Mitchell. They talked about what the experience at Hope is like, talked about what it's like playing for Coach Mitchell, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by Jeff Risdon from Lions Wire to talk about that horrible call in the Lions/Cowboys game. He and Huge also talked about the game against the Vikings, looked ahead to the first playoff game, and more. We were then joined by Olivia Bellows & Jada Garner who play for Coach Morehouse. They talked about their team bond, talked to us about what it's like playing for Coach Morehouse, and more. We wrapped up the show with a "True & Blue" interview as Huge spoke with Geoff Collard, who is the Director of Criminal Justice Training at Grand Valley State University. He talked with us about his what he and his program are all about at GVSU, talked about recruiting and the MCOLES grant and how it can assist recruits, and more.
